Bahagian Hal Ehwal Pelajar (HEP) Institut Sains Dan Teknologi Darul Takzim(INSTEDT) merupakan jabatan yang bertanggungjawab mengendalikan hal ehwal pelajar yang berkaitan dengan Kokurikulum, Kebajikan dan Tatatertib pelajar.

VISI
Menjadi pusat pengurusan pelajar bertaraf Universiti menerusi perkhidmatan berkualiti, sumber manusia yang kreatif, berwibawa dan diteladani.

MISI
Menerajui pembangunan sahsiah pelajar melalui program kepimpinan yang sistematik di samping menyediakan perkhidmatan dan kemudahan yang berkualiti dengan aspirasi kolej

MATLAMAT
Matlamat Bahagian Hal Ehwal Pelajar adalah untuk menghasilkan insan yang berketerampilan daripada segi jasmani, emosi, rohani dan intelektual serta membangunkan potensi diri pelajar melalui aktiviti pembelajaran dan program pemantapan personaliti pelajar serta bimbingan yang berterusan.

OBJEKTIF
1.   Mengurus kebajikan dan keselamatan pelajar
2.   Menjana kepimpinan dan sahsiah pelajar melalui aktiviti berpersatuan Sukan, kebudayaan dan pasukan berunifom
3.   Sentiasa membantu dan menguruskan setiap permohonan pembiayaan pengajian pelajar dengan sebaik mungkin
4.   Mendorong ke arah kecemerlangan melalui ikatan kekeluargaan Alumni
5.   Melahirkan masyarakat kolej yang produktif dinamik dan berilmu.
6.   Membentuk keperibadian pelajar yang berhati mulia dan berbudi bahasa
7.   Memberi pelbagai kemudahan dan perkhidmatan yang efisen untuk memenuhi kehendak mahasiswa dan persekitaran.
8.   Menjaga kebajikan para pelajar
9.   Melahirkan pelajar-pelajar yang mempunyai kemahiran personal, sosial dan berorganisasi.
10. Untuk mengatur dan mengurus perjalanan HES supaya dapat berjalan dengan baik, teratur dan sempurna.

• Menyediakan kemudahan dan perkhidmatan yang berkualiti kepada mahasiswa bagi mewujudkan suasana pembelajaran
   yang kondusif.
• Menyediakan program pembangunan sahsiah dan kepimpinan pelajar yang berkesan sejajar dengan falsafah kolej.
• Memastikan Hal Ehwal Pelajar sentiasa peka dan responsif kepada perkembangan dan keperluan pelajar.
• Memastikan  Hal Ehwal Pelajar prihatin terhadap kesejahteraan, kebajikan dan disiplin pelajar.
• Memberikan bimbingan dan bantuan kepada pelajar dengan mesra dan bersopan.
• Sentiasa membantu dan membimbing Persatuan Pelajar sejajar dengan konsep Melatih Pemimpin Masa Hadapan
